Storm Mountain Lodge was constructed in 1922 as one of eight Bungalow Camps built by Canadian Pacific Railway to promote tourism in the Rocky Mountains. My husband had the Seafood cake and I had the Summer soup. The cabins are half way between Lake Lousie and Banff, so you need to be prepared to drive to get to places.

This year, most of them deferred their reservation until next year, but we stuck with the plan. It is a cute, little gem. We had a excellent meal here. It was fab.

Guests will experience delicious Canadian cuisine prepared with a dedication to organic ingredients and naturally raised Alberta meat and wild fish pared with Canada's finest selection of wine. Clearly they have a mixologist hard at work. My Friend called to see if there were any rooms and the only thing I knew about the place was it had food for people driving by. Both really tasty. But it was an awesome Surprise.

We hate delicious dinners for two or our four nights at these rustic-yet-comfortable cabins. We love everything about it. Members can access discounts and special features.
