The mussels I thought I would love- how could mussels with chorizo not have flavour but somehow they manage to pull that off. Guess I am sounding...old.
Winery is very nice. the menu which is great, but also red and white flights, which is great because it allowed to try and taste more than one wine during our dinner. We were at many wineries in Okanagan. The old vines restaurant really needs a new chef. It was just sadly handled so terribly.More, We had a great time dining at Old Vines Restaurant, located within Quails' Gate vineyard. Tranquil and relaxing at the restaurant. Dessert was disappointing, though. Daniello was amazing as was our friends server who would come over and give updates on our friends...the food was soo good! Recommended. COVID update: Quails' Gate Estate Winery has updated their hours and services. Food was amazing and our first time guest was impressed. Yes, they have a restaurant, patio bistro and a 'paying' wine tasting menu. One suggestion the olives should be de-stoned it avoid any problems. As always a great experience . That should only be used for stock or something else. The same piece was re-cooked and was terrible.

Fantastic food, service and of course wines. The Chinook is a wonderfully oily and flakey fish...except for the tail. Couldn’t have been any better! I‘ve been a wine club member for years and tried so hard to love it but they have lost me. Sad because I love the people and the wine and the atmosphere. We had Sunday brunch at Quails gate and it was excellent. It's a good thing that the wine and the view were so good because that was all that saved the evening. There was a table of 4 that left 5 minutes after our table sat down. The restaurant at Quail’s Gate is a lovely experience: quality food, wine flights/glass/bottle options from the accompanying winery, and a delightful picnic space between the vines and the lake to enjoy your bottle purchase.

The potatoes were very bland unfortunately. The service was exceptional; Anina was outstanding! Both appetizers and mains had mistakes and we got served separately, so really we dined alone. The Stewart Family Proprietors' Dining Room is adjacent to our Wine Tasting Room and offers seating for up to 36 guests and a stand up event of up to 60 guests.
