Daniel writes much of this in the first person…as himself (i.e. Yes, I’m sure it was put in there by Daniel when he compiled his writings, but it was written by the emperor of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar (or Nebuchadrezzar as he is called now). These views are incorrect. Thanks for the comment! It is simply to help you see that God used real people to pen His Word; and sometimes we don’t know who it was that God used.  There is evidence, both textual (the conflicts between Western and Alexandrian manuscript families) and from the 2nd century Marcionite controversy, that Luke-Acts was still being substantially revised well into the 2nd century.
