We're diabetics in my household so I watch our sugar intake , that's for a different recipe she uses without nuts….it's for people who want to make healthy brownies but have a nut allergy so they can't use this one. I find the texture to be more fudgey and brownie-like with the PB2 Brownies being a bit more “cakey “.

2 tablespoons of PB2 is just 1 point while regular pb is 6 pts for the same amount. These were pretty good. Maybe your baking chocolate was not of good taste, texture or quality. The texture was more cake-y but very rich and moist. I used agave syrup instead of honey because that’s what I had. The amount of added sugar in PB2 is minimal. I made some swaps in the recipe, changed the egg by egg beaters, instead of 3/4 cup of chips i'll use 1/3 and instead of honey i'll try sugar free maple, i entered the calories and they will come out at 74 calories each! I don’t think you’ll need as much oil as butter though. and if so would I omit the coco powder? Okay, so I confess to tweaking the recipe based on other reviews because of cost effectiveness.
