Both movies center around a Rock n Roll star disappearance presumed dead when he just becoming famous.... the first movie has flashbacks to his performances and centers around his disappearance... the second film centers around a small time band, 15 years later, that happens to have a singer guitar player with just too much talent to stay incognito for long, the performances should have been longer, they were great.
