I loved the Nordic Cookbook and Magnus' style of writing - he really can transport you and he has a great sense of humour when he writes. I’d definitely take some time out to read the introduction chapters and learn a bit more about the history of Nordic baking. Bought for my husband as a Christmas gift and he’s really pleased with it. The recipe was really simple and I was surprised to find that I could make it with all my store cupboard essentials. It has revived my interest in bread making and I've gained a great deal more understanding of Nordic baking that I didn't know before. Whilst this book might come across as intimidating at first, once you delve into it it’s much more manageable.
