I wanted to take a moment, now that surgery is done and healing, to let you know about my experience at SCOI, which was my first.
Thank you for choosing Southern California Orthopedic Institute for your orthopedic needs. The physicians are excellent and everyone in my family has received great care from Dr Burns, Dr Karzel, Dr Bletcher and Dr. Jaivian, BUT as others have pointed out the reception and booking is a nightmare.

Dr. Joseph Burns is the miracle surgeon sent directly by God to give me back my life after I lost the use of my dominant right arm due to a prior failed massive rotator-cuff surgery which was performed by a negligent surgeon provided by my insurance company. And Maria in billing is the worst person I've ever had to deal with in a business setting. So now finally, I can get some relief.I have to wade through all the insurance gook but am hopeful the business office staff at SCOI can help me through it to expedite surgery.I highly recommend, but plan on a long wait to see the doc.
