Would adding sliced fresh strawberries to the batter work? I can’t wait to bake the strawberry flavored for the homeless shelter I bake treats for! Those gluten free mixes do require some adjustment when they’re substituted in recipes.

I made chocolate brownies by your recipe, used a double chocolate cake mix, added the chocolate chips plus pecans.

Stationed in Puerto Rico, we had banana trees growing in our yard, so I found ways to use dozens of ripe bananas at a time.

Introducing the cranberries to this recipe added tartness, texture and color, too. So my suggestion is to either put them in the fridge or waite until they are cold and set. I much prefer glass with this recipe, but either will work.
