As soon as I got my Dell 3007 WFP-HC turned on, I went directly to Pixel Buddy and tried all the combination colors. Stuck Pixels. Stuck pixels, on the other hand, may be red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, or yellow, depending on which of the three RGB subpixels are stuck on. First turn off the monitor, then get a damp cloth so the screen doesn't get scratched.
Understand how pixels work. I went to sams club and got the Samsung p2350 23" for $200. I guess the question is now, what should I do when I get the money back? Obviously full green and full blue would be black and red would just be red.
Cybernet's customer service, and their medical PCs' functionality and reliability have been perfect. What annoys me most is that more expensive panels clearly aimed at enthusiasts or professionals do not have professional quality and service standards to match the price. Dead pixels are simply black spots on the screen, and show up most clearly against a lighter background. From what I heard it could be one of the sub pixels. A stuck pixel will usually the red, green, blue or yellow, but can also be a light black color (pictured below).
If I could get one locally I would definitely do that, and that way I could probably get one that's perfect.
