4. White claw sounds tastier in my opinion. Not if it’s low enough sugar to not kick you out of ketosis. They're all basically a 5% ABV La Croix. However, Bon Viv and Wild Basin brands were both surprisingly delicious discoveries recently.
I’m curious because I’d love to try, but not sure which one to get. I have tons of hard cider recommendations though! I've tried a lot of seltzers - White Claw, Henry's, Truly, Smirnoff, Spiked Seltzer (too high carb), Bon&Viv, Crook&Ladder, Oscar Blue's and a couple others.
There are definitely other options out there, which may actually taste better, but these two companies are currently pushing the hardest when it comes to their marketing. I second Bon Viv and Wild Basin!!

White Claw tends to have a more robust flavor than Truly, though Truly's flavors I find to be enjoyably subtle enough that I can still drink flavors I don't like (see: any Truly berry flavor). I’ve found White Claws to be “sharper” as well... they kind of bite you in the back of the throat! Does anyone have any experience with comparing the two? Strongbow and Woodchuck are both good and should be easily available in many stores. At least of the ones I’ve tried so far. My husband likes white claw way better than truly, but the carb count was just too much for me for a beverage. Both seltzer brands label as gluten-free but I don't have personal experience drinking them. I will say that $40 for a 12 pack of white claw at the grocery store is highway 1 robbery! I agree, the 'natural flavors' in White Claw must include some kind of artificial sweetener. I love Wild Basin...except their lemon agave hibiscus. They’re a larger operation and have decent regional distribution. They seem sour to me. I am not a huge Angry Orchard fan - usually will prefer Strongbow or Stella Cider over it when I’m at a basic bar without options. I’m preparing for the fourth (obvi from the US) and was wondering if anyone had any luck with either of these brands. Holidaily makes very tasty gluten free beers— really gf, not gluten removed. At least that seems to be the trend. I think you'll find that White Claw is truly better than Truly. Ace Pear is delicious but on the sweet side (I like that, many folks don't though). At my local liquor store they say white claw is way more popular.

I love their taproom in Rino (Denver). I hate Ciders, too sweet for me. Maybe? I tried the Austin Eastsiders for a while, but I don’t like the fact that they have ingredients other than fruit juice. Drank a six pack of White Claw yesterday and don't seem any worse off than usual. White Claw by far. So, for the longest time I thought it was called White Clam and none of my friends corrected me.
Yay score. I hate cherry flavored anything and I feel like every place I go only sells White Claw and only has black cherry, or grapefruit. Truly is ok, but White Claw tastes much better, more flavor. Truly and White Claw are like the Coke and Pepsi of the Hard Seltzer world at the moment. I hate when companies do that! Are both of these good and safe for celiacs? Stay away from Redd's apple ale - it's not a true cider and is NOT gluten-free!
In my local liquor store, the variety 12 pack of White Claw is about $3 more expensive than the Truly variety 12 pack.
I like Golden State cider, they have a few varieties that range in sweetness - this is in most bars where i live so I’m happy to get it. Is now only 2 carbs! for me its more a specific flavor thing. I usually drink them over ice and it alleviates it a bit. Truly vs. White Claw – Taste Test. Nothing on the label has changed except for the carb count, tastes the same as far as I can tell! But I agree, White Claw definitely has a better taste than Truly. Had the worst fucking hangover though. I really like Truly better, especially Truly Rose.
i don't like any of them but i'd say that the smirnoff was my favorite out of the three. The Samuel Smith organic cider from the UK is pretty good. One of my absolute favorites is Crispin - they have a honey crisp flavor and a maple flavor that only come in big bottles. Whiteclaw and Truly are fired. Hmm never heard of it. I liked Henery's hard seltzer, it reminded me of La Croix w/vodka but it's not sold where I live. Thank you for answering! Mentioning wild basin just gave me PTSD. Which one does not leave a bad aftertaste? I have a friend who lives in Guatemala who loves white claw beverages. I had very low expectation for the flavors, as they didn't sound like anything that I would normally enjoy drinking, but everyone in my group agreed that everything we tried by these brands was great. I don’t mind it, but after one or two the like fake sugar chemically taste is gross to me. there have been ones ive loved and others that are meh, from each brand. Or any options at all for that matter. If you’ve already had 19 carbs one white claw might kick you out. I'm on the fence about the citric acid in all these hard seltzers. Just tried a new one, Snowcapped - drinking a Sour Cherry rn and it’s excellent. And yes, completely and utterly safe. C2 from Colorado is good. My favorite is Stem, from Colorado. Where do you live? With the exception of the lime flavor, Whiteclaw and Truly are equally meh, in my opinion.
