With the hope of protecting the basic human rights of every child, UNICEF will work to assess the current issues, focus on the current reforms and programs in effect that are fighting child trafficking, and develop new initiatives that can address this complex topic that affects nations worldwide. Child trafficking is an issue that needs to be addressed by all members of the United Nations, as it is affecting more people than the average citizen may think.

Human Trafficking: Host an awareness raising event by screening Not My Life (a video that puts a human face on the issue of human trafficking). Victims of this crime are recruited, transported, exchanged, sheltered or received (UNICEF) and are then faced with ill-treatment from the culprit and those that are involved in the trade along the way.
