We ended up being seated outside, right next to a sidewalk where a homeless man was sitting (and stayed for the duration of our meal). Caesar salad was perfectly chilled and crisp and flavor and dressing level on point.

The food was outstanding . Gianni is always great! My sister got sick. It appears that they really over book themselves and it's not fair to the patrons. The only positive of the experience was the meatball we got TO GO because we couldn't stand the blaring rap music.... what used to be my favorite spot in North end is no more, does not live up to its reputation any longer, Great food and excellent service. Delicious food, great service and a most pleasant experience. Great restaurant and food! They wouldn’t seat us until everyone walked inside which made the limited bar area get pretty crowded.

Our server helped guide us on some wine for the table and when we asked for apps he brought ALL the apps which was incredible. a table behind us at dinner had their yappy very annoying dog with them. Italian. Strega was outstanding. How is Strega North End restaurant rated? Due to local restrictions, this restaurant may not be accepting bookings at the moment. The mob movies was interesting. Always amazing. All fish and meats are cooked to order.

There's alot of potential in this place but they should really consider scaling back the number of guests they take on a Saturday night. Very good though. There was literally 40 people standing in a very small space hovering over tables and bumping into waiters and people trying to eat. Food was awesome.
Even asked the waiter to turn it down and he said he couldn't stand it either and wasn't allowed to.. stevie b playing, not frank Sinatra or dean martin?? Had to wait over 30 min for reservation. Is Strega North End currently accepting reservations? A table sat open in front of us the entire time we waited.
The service was average and I ordered the weekend special which was the Cacio e pepe, and I assumed since it’s just cheese and pepper pasta there would be no issues. We ordered our appetizers and were asked for our entree as well. We have been to Italy and tried many restaurants.
