The biggest takeaway from the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is that it’s not as sweet as the PSL. For those who live in climates where fall weather doesn't actually kick in until winter, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew does have its advantages over the classic PSL.
This was so delicious and I agree with above, you can customize the syrups. I liked that it stayed nicely as the top layer without sinking too much into the Cold Brew. So what should you order?
The dusting of pumpkin spice topping gives the drink a strong fragrance that will definitely bring to mind images of decorative gourds, cool(ish) weather and the return of the snow birds. And while I typically have to be in the mood for Cold Foam, I LOVED this one. The Cold Brew itself, sweetened with vanilla syrup, is smooth and easy to drink. So it tastes exactly like a regular Starbucks cold brew: A little bitter, pretty sweet (thanks to the standard addition of vanilla syrup) and distinctly coffee-y.
