I smelled this fragrance at a person's place, who was shrinking his 500+ fragrance collection. out of i know this fragrance has an army of admirers, im not trying to be disrespectful but, this is really awful.
This smells like Burberry Her or Into the Stars. Thankfully, it does not last. It´s soft and light yet last for a very long time as if the molecules radiates very slowly from you skin. I have worn BR540 alone all day and it held, but it consistently reminded me of Bond GV; but GV has better longevity and projection on me.
I actually prefer BR540 even though it is overprice but I will still get it after I am done collecting designer perfumes.

I've been wearing BR540 for a few years now and loved it but eh now I'm over it. When this fragrance starts to dry down, the notes of ambergris and fir resin start to peek through, giving this fragrance a true Baccarat Rouge 540 finish. It sounded so good, but its highly unpleasant to my nose. I used to have a really good friend when I was a teenager - he used to go out with my sister when I was younger and after they broke up I remained friends with him. She did facials, massages, aromatherapy and all that stuff for the local women. Gahh! We are from different countries, but this sweet, soft, and delicious fragrance reminds us of something we smelled when we were kids, something that makes us feel safe and happy.
I put it in the crook of my elbows, and the only way I really smell it then is if I put my arm up to my nose. The only downside to it is that it doesn't last on me at all which is a shame given it's high price point. Great! Fall and Winter is for Baccarat rouge 540.
