Disregard the low scores and Hate in the comments bc it's all for nothing. It has its own vibe and is a great cooler weather fragrance. I have to agree with Endymion, he isn't a snob, he's telling the truth, the two points he stated were justified. Longevity only 2 to 3 hours. I tried using Canvas (purchased at Lucky Scent) and that helped , but I didn't want to 'layer'all the time. Fragrance -La Nuit de L'Homme L'Intense Yves Saint Laurent. This fragrance is an example why I don't listen to others peoples 'opinions' on scents - in fact not on on anything really. After 3+ hours smells very similair, yet still noticeable.

This cologne is a parfum so it should last longer than EDT. Tonka bean is very prominent. It's just right! This is quite a complex sent. With all the money made by the original La Nuit de L'Homme, and all the money this could potentially make, one would think YSL has the funds to make this one good right? I get a solid 7 - 9 hours with this. The Intense flanker of "La Nuit de L'Homme" it's neither intense, nor a flanker! I think it is time to stop giving this friggin house so much hype and glory. I think both are great.
La Nuit de l'Homme meets Fahrenheit Absolute (2015), Not sure what the people below me are talking about. I went to the local store to try this one today, and my girlfriend (I must say that my girlfriend prefers fresh fragrences) and my mother didn't like it.

Definitely a great grab if you're out at night with friends and you don't want to be offensive or loud. As announced, LA NUIT DE L'HOMME L'INTENSE can be expected in the second half of August 2015. Way more mature and sophisticated than the original La Nuit, but not in a darker sense. Very nice perfume, performance is...what performance? This is meant to be a close encounter , date, or intimate scent.

Which sucks because the EDP is a terrible release. If you want a darker, warmer take on La Nuit than check out the "Le Parfum".. I like it a lot, reminds me of the candy Swedish fish. The Iris is definitely there to make it different enough from the original. It’s a a skin scent, which is everyone chief complaint. The bottle looks stunning, very bad ass, I admit. La Nuit L'Intense is 85% of La Nuit with 15% of a dark powdery feel of Dior Homme Intense.
An untrained nose. And at the base theres a bit of a fruityness that lingers with the tonka bean and patchouli and because of that again more so than la nuit, my mind kinda thinks of the original l'homme. Projection is good for a few hours but stays and lingers closer to you. It's not too heavy for me.
It’s sweet. Just as Le parfum was more fruity interpretation. Disappointed..:(.

This smells like a generic clean (thanks to the sage) and sexy (thanks to patchouli) men's fragrance and it gets the job done like Y EDP. But it became more thoughtful and more "gentleman". I bought a bottle of this and it is amazing. Or at least 50/50 mix of la nuit, the original l'homme. Why the hell do they name it as a flanker when it's a completely different scent?

The top notes fade fast though so La Nuit de l'Homme in the end is mainly about the coumarin and wood. La Nuit De L'homme L'intense De Parfum is Sage and violet are blended with a vertiginous blast of iris concrete, combined with the Oriental signature of the original La Nuit de L'Homme, vanilla, patchouli and tonka bean.

Now they have an intense and from what it sounds like another crappy performing fail. This scent gets a Lot of Hate because it says intense in the name.. I really enjoyed this fragrance and it is on my wish list! It's better, smoother, deeper than the regular La Nuit or the L'Homme.
Which I wasn't expecting. Straight up...I'm a sucker for Iris. Let it go and then go out. I smells a little more feminine but more elegant and orginal too I think. the ultimate sophistication. Lovely smell. I prefer something else.
YSL is overdoing it a bit with the l'Homme flankers, but I still can't wait to smell this one out! Le Parfum is still my favourite. Very similar smell to DH, but in a much lower league. I wear this fragrance only in the evening, especially before bed, and it clings to me beautifully. perhaps one of the best. L'intense just works perfect on me.
