Sleeping Dogs is probably one of my favorite games ever, it managed to suck me in like no other game did recently. Why doesn't it just save your prefeered colors instead of having to change it each time you take the car? I did really enjoy Sleeping Dogs, and I wouldn't hate to see a second one. Dogs who sleep, or dogs who watch?
There are like five conversations happening on top of one another. Cannot agree more on this. i mean does it get repetitive and stuff...?

There were times when I was hunkered down doing takedowns and cutting power, using all my gadgets that I thought "This is very like Batman".

I'm going with Watch_Dogs.
[29] The project advanced to full production in early 2008.
Its better voice acted as well, have you seen its cast roll? I haven't come close to finishing Watchdogs yet, but from what I've played so far Sleeping Dogs is more fun. Awful character/Awful story/ Boring world/Average graphics/ Too much UI robbing any immersion you have for the game.. Can't stand how lots of things get white halos around them / Boring mini games that literally have you sighing its so terrible that you just want to quit it immediately.
Triad XP awarded is directly proportional to the complexity of attacking moves. It really was a masterful game. Square Enix London Studios general manager Lee Singleton said he recognized the game's playability and potential. Sleeping Dogs takes place in the city of Hong Kong with players taking on the role of an undercover cop on a mission to infiltrate the Triads. It had better story, better gameplay and overall more fun to play, Sleeping Dogs was fucking awesome and a surprise. But it's like a solid 4/5 in every single one of its aspects--everything functions (and that's more than some games can boast), but every individual aspect was done better by someone else. After Popstar's arrest, the Water Street branch suspect that Shen is a cop, though he manages to make Winston relent. Funny story, I ended up getting Sleeping Dogs because the first Watch Dogs was such a mediocre experience that I needed something else to wash the taste outta my mouth. [82] Blyth described the cast, aside from Shen, as "brilliantly recognizable stereotypes that have been given enough extra edge for you to care about them", and felt the attitude shifts of some characters were distracting and unrealistic.
Story was better than I expected it to be.
Not to mention that it's generally more consistent visually and runs much better. The mini-map incorporates two meters: one shows Shen's health and the other his face.

[20] IGN's Colin Moriarty compared the combat to that of Batman: Arkham City and compared it favorably with Grand Theft Auto IV despite its simplicity and repetitiveness.
Also, I feel like it was the peak of the Ubisoft formula. GTA games really do not have great stories, they are poorly paced, thematically confused, and all over the place.
I'm having a lot more fun than I ever did with Sleeping Dogs.
The game was announced in 2009 as part of the True Crime series but was canceled by Activision Blizzard in 2011, as a result of the project's delays and budget issues. Sleeping Dogs certainly did that, but not before I fell in love with its gorgeous setting and engrossing story and regretted not having picked it up sooner. It has a better story & characters I think. I couldn't tell you what my favorite radio station was, because I never listened to any of them for long enough to get even their general vibe. also provided voices for the in-game radio presenters.
