I had the Tuna Cruddo which is a lot of different raw fishes in a bland sauce that obscured the flavors of the different fish. Excellent service.
in and asking us to repeat what we said.)
We were the first to enter the restaurant at 5:30 PM immediately when it opened...and sat at the bar for a drink.
(The waiter had to keep leaning...in and asking us to repeat what we said.)
Has decreased in quality from exceptional to good.
We settled our bill with someone else and we saw her speaking with him - and he was terse with us.
Starting with drinks, the cosmopolitan was a cloudy pink drink with overtones of …
while not cheap, if you are looking for an elegant dining experience in new york, felidia may be for you.More, Been here before and had a great experience.
The options are all overpriced and lacking character.
Spectacular Italian-inspired food. Overall, an expensive dinner that was very average.More, Do you want to experience a restaurant with the rudest manager imaginable ? I've eaten at Felidia many times and the hallmark is, they are gracious about accommodating guests. After many years of watching Lydia and preparing from her recipes this was our visit to one of her restaurants; it did not disappoint!
Our party of five fit comfortably in the intimate dining room. I then pulled up the Open Table entry and showed him that this information was not posted. We rank these hotels, restaurants, and attractions by balancing reviews from our members with how close they are to this location.
The prices were, however, absolutely memorable.
. The merengue with sorbet also delicious. Obviously her success has not gone to her head, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to meet her and chat for a couple of minutes. I will probably not go back.More, being from the hinterlands of arizona, i am not used to the combinations and presentation of food such as at felidia. It just appears that the employees in Felida are not happy campers and that is reflected in the service and the food. I can only believe that management is setting that tone and this is one of those restaurants that though once great, has had it's day..... 4 with a $98.00 bottle of wine, couple of drinks,2 desserts we shared. Food is a bit eclectic for my tastes but my wife loves it and they had executed well so we went back. Also be prepared to spend a lot of money, especially if you want truffle crumbs over your dinner!!
The service is formal but very good. Why it is ranked only 405 in NYC is a mystery.
The Apple crostata dessert was good but the deconstructed cannoli was meh. The wines (a Verdicchio and a Sangiovese) were excellent.

It was OK. Then I had a Ravioli with a pear filling, bland and tasteless. Don’t judge. Review tags are currently only available for English language reviews.
The food was lovely (which is why this is a three) but the service became disappointing and patronizing.
I've eaten at Felidia many times and the hallmark is, they are gracious about accommodating guests. Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra has been with Felidia since 1996 and has brought an innovative touch to traditional ingredients and dishes from all the regions of Italy. this is lidia's first restaurant from what i understand.
Can a vegetarian person get a good meal at this restaurant?
When I pointed out that in contrast to every other restaurant Felidia did not provide notice of this. However, avoid the spaghetti squash as it did not have the desired consistency.
When we settled our bill the young lady spoke to us rudely.
A beautiful gluten-free bread/loaf or gigantic fresh roll placed in front of me when I expected nothing.
